We went from rain straight to 102° with no real break in between.
The only benefit to the guys on site is that at least there’s a strong breeze on the roof they’re working on. Still pretty miserable out.

Alright but that’s actually a really cool gauge cluster

Yep, Yamaha did a nice job making a fittingly neo-retro gauge for the bike.

Rain to 102°... I don’t even want to think about that humidity...

Your motorcycle has an ambient temperature sensor? That’s fancy!
If I don’t have many stoplights or don’t have to worry about traffic I’ll ride when it gets above 95, but I have been stuck in that heat too many times to enjoy it now that I’m a few years older.

On a bike at 102°....doesn’t the wind basically become a blast furnace at speed?

I kind of wish we could get something similar in cars...

That gauge...never have I wanted a bike more, just to look at that all day.

I would say so. I’ve only ridden up
to about 90F in perforated
full leathers,
any time I dropped from 70mph
to 30-40mph I started roasting
. I could feel my body temp rise
10
F just at the
stoplights. Can’t imagine riding that hot even with mesh/riding
jeans
and no way I’d squid on a bike.

The Chevy Sonic had a motorcycle inspired huge cluster.
Of course, motorcycles tend to rev a little higher...

Is that the 700?
Edit: nevermind, didn’t notice the bit below the seat, it’s the 900. Those are nice bikes

Couldn’t find an XSR700 in my budget, so I just bought an XSR900 instead.
